Our family recently stayed at the newly refurbished Hôtel Majestic during our visit to Bordeaux, and it was a memorable experience. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the city; we strolled right next door to the stunning Grand Theatre and the vibrant Rue Sainte-Catherine. Traveling with our small dog, the staff were accommodating, making us feel welcome. Our room was clean and spacious—definitely better than the photos suggested—and the soundproofing was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was decent, offering a selection of continental items and gluten-free options, which pleased the Coeliacs in our group. It would have benefited from some sautéed eggs and sausages, but it was satisfactory. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Bordeaux Wine School; it was a fantastic family-friendly activity. Our stay at Hôtel Majestic felt just right for our outdoor-loving family looking for comfort amidst our city adventures. We’d definitely consider returning.
